HOUSTON, TX, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Monique A. Crandon, Substitute Instructor at Houston Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
With eight years of experience in her field, Ms. Crandon became involved with education through her desire to help others. At Houston Community College, she is responsible for teaching literacy to GED-certified students. Formerly, Ms. Crandon was an AVID Tutor at Alief Elsik High School.
Pursuing a Master of Liberal Studies Degree at Regis University, Ms. Crandon is the recipient of a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Houston Baptist University. She volunteers her free time to Literacy Advance Houston where she teaches computer classes and has been a member of Wilcrest Baptist Church for six years. She attributes her career accomplishments to her hard work.
